It's not wolverine's style anyway, and you can't put that man in the cage. There is the odd time where the game tires to get you take a stealthy approach and they don't work very well so it's a good thing you're not forced to do it. Another thing the game does well is surprises, whether it be traps, or ambushes or encountering an environmental object by accident in the middle of a fight. Mix all that in with counter moves, and upgrading of stats and abilities, and a giant robot fight, and you've got some pretty tasty girly giggle worth action. Battlegrounds change and fall apart all the time and some fights last for ages, such as the bout with gambit. And the boss fights! There's so much variety, from riding the back of your enemy, to blasting a half built robots head off and they're all just FUN. Wolverine is a very rewarding game in general Baj, especially if you go off the beaten track. Jung, I love a game that lets you throw as many enemies off cliffs as possible, and rewards you for it.Īfter last weeks review of flock, we know how much you like to do THAT Bajo.

Until you finish the game, it's a bit hard to work out exactly what's going on. You act out the games two storylines in tandem.

I knows! We haven't seen the movie yet, but we're told the game is based entirely around the film, with some extra drama thrown into, and told with some very gory, and beautiful cinematics. Now as a tie in to the movie, Xmen Origins: Wolverine stars our very own Hugh Jackman and Jung, I was worried I might not like playing a moviestar version of wolverine, in a game, but he actually adds a lot to the character.
Wolverine is definitely the hardest X-man, but his track history in games hasn't always been great.
